Colton “CJ” Cook

Division & Car Number:

Colton Cook

What age did you take your first lap in a race car and what was it?
16, in a Go-Kart at K1 Speed, an indoor karting facility. I reckoned I wanted to go oval racing, me and dad got together and bought an EcoStock, formed T&L Motorsports, and we never looked back!

First Win Details
June 25, 2022 at Mobile International Speedway. I raced side-by-side with the #15 for a handful of laps, then I finally emerged victorious coming out of turn 4 by cranking the car down on the low line, then getting in front of the #15.

Current daily driver:
A tricked out 2019 Ford Mustang EcoBoost.

Do you have a non-race hobby?
Not really, but I do love working on and learning more about cars.

Do you have pets or a favorite memory?
My dog Gizmo, then my cat Snips. My favorite memory was/is when I won my first race at Mobile.

Your pre-race ritual?
Get my ears on, pull my helmet on, strap in, tighten the belts, pull onto the track, warm the tires, then let ‘er eat when the green drops!

Favorite color?
I don’t really have a preference, but I’d say white.

What driver would give you the biggest thrill to finish ahead of? (current division or in all of history)
Anyone who races like I do.

Day race or night race?
Night race, day races are too hot..

Favorite racetrack:
Mobile International Speedway.
