Don Armstrong, Local Media Broadcaster, Set to Announce at Advance Auto Parts Asphalt OctoberFAST Races Saturday, October 19!

Houston, TX (Friday, October 4) The Texas Short Track Racing Series is pleased that Don Armstrong, one of Houston’s most respected radio and television broadcaster, will join Rodney Rodriquez, race announcer and host of Revved Up Sports Show (RUSSTX), to announce the side by side asphalt racing action Saturday, October 19. Sure to become a powerful announcing duo, come hear these talented racing broadcasters share their knowledge at the Advance Auto Parts Asphalt OctoberFAST at The Oval at Houston Motorsports Park. You’ll see eight competitive racing classes, including Pro Trucks, Pro Modifieds, Outlaws, Eco Stocks, NASKarts and Super Stocks, plus Dwarfs and Allison Legacy.

Don Armstrong is host of car talk show “In Wheel Time” on ESPN 97.5 FM in Houston. This LIVE and exciting car talk show is heard every Saturday noon to 2 PM, Central Time and streamed in both audio and video via the www.InWheelTime.com web site and on Facebook. Don can also be found flying high over Houston as a reporter and videographer in the ABC 13 Sky Eye helicopter.

Rodney Rodriguez, based in Austin, Texas, is co-host of Revved Up Sports Show. Broadcast live and on podcasts on The Horn 104.9FM/1260AM, RUSSTX is the go-to show for local and national motorsports conversation in Texas.
